Game 1 Box       Game 2 Box

In game 1, it was all Bartolomei, as the Senior dominated the Tigers in the circle and executed at the plate.  With the game knotted at 0-0, she led of the bottom of the 5th with a single and scored on a double by Rebekah Moore, giving the Lynx a 1-0 lead, which is all of the cushion Bartolomei would need.   She faced just one batter over the minimum, giving up an infield single to Nicole Scommegna to lead off the second.  On the play, Scommegna dribbled a slow roller just in front of the plate, a play where catcher Rebekah Moore got her feet tangled up with the bat, allowing Scommegna to beat the throw.  Bartolomei retired the next 18 hitters she faced, striking out 6 and earning her 4th shutout of the year.

It was Bartolomei who got the call in the circle in game 2, the first time in her career she'd started both ends of a doubleheader.  The Senior, pitching in her last game as a Lynx, continued her dominance of the Tiger hitters,  tossing her second shutout of the day, giving up 4 hits and striking out 7 to lead the Lynx to a 5-0 victory.

Moore delivered a 2 RBI double in the 1st, giving the Lynx a 2-0 lead, which is where the score would remain until the 5th.   After Allison Conn and Bartolomei singled in the 5th, Sara Bowen delivered her first home run of the year to expand the Lynx lead to 5-0.

Rhodes finishes the season with a 13-19 record, and a 6-10 record in the SCAC, good for a 4th place finish in the West division, 1 game behind Hendrix for 3rd place.  Bartolomei, Amanda Lutzy and Savannah Deaton ended their careers as Lynx with 35 wins over their last two seasons, the highest 2-year win total since the 1999 and 2000 seasons.
